RENKU連句
Renku is a form poetry that the phrases 575 and 77 are alternately connected. Usually, it is made with plural number of people. There are 36 phrases(called Kasen) or 100 phrases. From the Kamakura period, Renga began, and during the Muromachi period, a haikai of Renga was born. This is called Renku.
連句とは、575と77の句を交互につないでいくものである。通常、複数の人数で作る。３６句続くもの（歌仙）や１００句続くものがある。鎌倉時代から連歌が始まり、室町時代には、俳諧の連歌が生まれた。これが連句と呼ばれる。
TENJI 転じ 〈change the world〉
The proverb says:
Kasen is 36 steps and not retreated.
(歌仙は３６歩、一歩も退かず）

A previous line and the next should be slightly connected like a strand of hair.
